soft revolution

I am, regrettably, home.  I've had an amazing two weeks away - one week in Bournemouth, and one week in Cornwall.

Sea air works wonders for the skin, the mentality and the mood. And being with friends, even more so.

While in Bournemouth, I did a fair bit of shopping (don't tell my mummy) - I went mad in the sales with jewelry, but here are my two favourite buys:

This necklace is from zara. Never before have I bought a necklace as beautiful and bold as this, but zara have a gorgeous collection of accessories at the moment! I definitely advise checking them out! Its perfect for adding to a simple t-shirt, (another buy; crop top from topshop... naughty sara), and glams up any outfit! I loved the eastern-vibe it gives! I even have a few saris it'd be perfect with!

I'm sad summer is ending because this crop top from republic is so comfy and casual, I want to wear it all the time! LOVE clothes... I just need more money!

Another of my favourite buys was this playsuit from PRIMARK! It was a gorgeous little number for £15. However... I wore it out that evening, and after many baileys... I COULDN'T GET IT UNDONE. When we got home, I had my 3 friends try for ages to unjam the zip... to no avail. They had to rip it off :( So back it's gone... Never again. Playsuits are tricky buggers.

I had a wonderful week, drinking, sunbathing, shopping. It was fab. Forgetting all worries in the sun and partying early into the morning - take me back to UNI!

I'm sad to be home to be honest. My next few weeks will be taken up with work work and more work. Tomorrow, I get a little break; its my Grandad's 101st birthday! Some cause for celebration I think! Next Sunday-Monday I have a spa-break with my mum as well so, in order to prolong the benefits, I'm going to be detoxing these next two weeks! #getfitforfreshers

Its been a cruel summer, and despite the desire for sun, I'm glad its coming to an end. A new term at Uni is exactly what I need.

Unfortunately, pictures from Cornwall are going to take longer than expected - after taking 5 different cameras only 2 ended up being useful & I forgot about the other one... My digital had no battery left! My 35mm SLR decided to pack up halfway through its 2nd film... ANNOYING! and I completely forgot about my polaroid. So... You have some disposable camera pictures and a few 35mm SLR pics to look forward to when I get enough money/time to develop them!
