judy's affordable vintage fair

Last month, ages ago now, I went to Judy's Affordable Vintage Fair in Cambridge's Guild Hall. Having missed last years one, I was keen to go and was given the opportunity to be a 'vintage detective'. I chose to hunt out items from the 40s, my chosen era as its one of my best friend's favourites. So of course, she came along with me and did the spotting while I took the photographs, pretty much. However, I couldn't stop there. There was too much pretty stuff to photograph I couldn't be limited to one era. So have a look at some of what I found. You can have a look here to see what I treated myself to.

There were so many beautiful things, I had to tear myself away from buying a snake-skin cigarette case reminding myself that I don't smoke. But I'd happily take up smoking just to warrant purchasing one. Next time, eh! Vintage fairs are one of the best places to find clip on earrings, because nowhere seems to sell them anymore, so there was so much choice but I didn't get any - I was a good girl. I looked but didn't touch.
